Bearsted Updates ahead of their 2023/24 Premier Division Season
Melvin stays!! Our first player retained is Daniel Melvin, who is our players player, supporters player and managers player from last season.
Dan has committed to the 23/24 season and is looking forward to the challenge.
It’s a big one, WJC becomes a bear! New signing Will Johnson-Cole brings us experience, energy and most importantly GOALS!
Management are delighted to get William signed, he will be vital for achieving our targets this year.
Our third player today is Omotumise Akanni, who has decided to stay for another season.
The versatility and hard working attitude he gives every week are valued highly at the club and we look forward to another season with him at the bears.
Very important player last year and cannot speak highly enough in his drive to score goals, press defenders and put his body on the line for the team.
Oliver Freeman was our top scorer last season and will be aiming for even more this season
Joel Wakefield signs for another season with the bears! The energetic midfielder works his socks off every game giving his all for the club and even chipped in with a goal or two this season. A pleasure to have around the club.
Ryan Blake has committed to the coming season, bringing not only his footballing ability but also his leadership on and off the pitch.
Dennis Agbudume has signed for the bears after impressing the management last year when we faced him. His defensive qualities and lightening pace are something we are happy to have with us this season.
Jordan Tingley has decided to stay for next season. Our young player of the year last year playing in a variety of positions. Jordan started hitting some real form towards the end of the season and hopefully can take that into the season coming.
Marvin Okundalaiye has joined the bears from Punjab. Excited by our targets, this year he will bring a wealth of experience alongside his quality on the pitch to help us achieve them.
TURTS STAYS! Adam Turton joins us for another season after impressing last season.
The character he brings to the team is irreplaceable and his footballing brain the same. Great player, great guy, glad to have you back.
Callum McCarthy has signed again for next season, a real club man whose been consistently good over the season even with a couple of injuries!
Colby Wait has committed to another season protecting the bears goal. Also scored a key goal in the derby this year which was a huge moment in our season!
Another day another player retained! Andy Irvine stays for another year to help us achieve big things. Great guy and great player!
Frankie Leonard stays between the sticks this year, the young goalie brings huge quality to the squad.
