Eight games, with half of them drawn, and wins for Faversham Town, Glebe, Fisher and Lordswood this Bank Holiday Monday.

Faversham’s win at Whitstable came in front of of 868 spectators at the Belmont and moves the Lilywhites up to 3rd place in the table. Tashi-Jay Kwayie opened the scoring in the 15th minute, Callum Davies added the second and Samuel Hasler wrapped up the win just before the hour mark.

Lordswood are one place higher, following their 2-1 beating of Hollands & Blair. Elliott Duncan and Mo Dawodu found the net for Nicky Southall’s side, who look to have an exciting season ahead of them.

Fisher started the day at the foot of the table but are now well clear of that status thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win against Stansfeld. Courtney Barrington’s double followed Billy Brown’s opener and now it is Stansfeld that have dropped to last place.

Kelvin Bakare scored a hat-trick as Glebe edged an entertaining meeting with Holmesdale. The Foxes raced into a 2-goal lead at Oakley Road before goals from Jack Church and Mecca Samuels levelled the game. Then with time running out  Bakare completed his trio and in doing so earned Glebe their first 3 point haul of the 2024/25 campaign.

VCD Athletic drew 0-0 at Erith & Belvedere, but remain top of the table while Tunbridge Wells and Rusthall drew 1-1 in front of 813 at Jockey Farm.

Corinthian and Punjab United also finished 1-1 and it was 2-2 between Sutton Athletic and Bearsted, with Arlie Desanges opening the scoring for the hosts at Lower Road.
