A New Era begins for Chislehurst Glebe FC
On Saturday the great and the good were gathered at Foxbury to see the evolution of Glebe FC.
Firstly, we able to see the unveiling of a new name for the Club – and a badge to go with it, before witnessing the official opening of their stunning new 3G Pitch – a place that will become a real hub for their Chislehurst community for many years to come.
“Today marks a proud moment in our club’s journey — we are thrilled to unveil the new Chislehurst Glebe FC badge” Chairman Rocky MacMillan told the large assembled crowd.
This isn’t just a redesign. It’s an evolution. We’ll always be Glebe, but with Chislehurst our permanent home and the opening of our brand-new 3G stadium, the time felt right to embrace our future while honouring our past.
This new badge is more than a logo. It’s a symbol of everything we’ve built together — and everything still to come.”
Ahead of the badge unveiling, a launch video was provided to view that captures ‘the heart and spirit’ of the club.
“Welcome to the new era. Chislehurst Glebe FC – more than a football club, we are a community”
Then it was time for the ribbon to be cut on the opening of the new stadium.
It has been a while getting to this point and Rocky was keen to show appreciation to everyone that helped in their journey to getting here – and there were many people involved! Be it, local Councillors, Sponsors, MPs, the Premier League and Football Foundation, local Chislehurst Groups, Farrington’s School and many, many more – all had helped Chislehurst Glebe FC deliver a pitch and Stadium that will be used by the local community for many years to come!
